Voucher

REMINDERS
Vouchers are given to folks with no insurance or with private insurance. Vouchers are used as a secondary payment. The victim/survivor’s private insurance will be billed first.
Vouchers cover the cost of the forensic exam and medications in the ER.
Vouchers do not cover in-patient services or surgery related to the assault. Please refer victim/survivor to the Northwest CASA office closest to them where an Advocate can discuss Crime Victims Compensation and go over seeking reimbursement for these expenses.
Vouchers will not be issued to folks with Medicaid or Medicare. The cost of the visit will be covered by those programs.
